The following recalls have been announced:

_ Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals Inc. is recalling bottles and packages of the supplement Stamina-Rx, because they could contain benzamidenafil, a chemical that is not listed on its packaging. The chemical mimics the active ingredient used for erectile dysfunction drugs. The benzamidenafil could interact with nitrates prescribed for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease or other problems, resulting in dangerously low blood pressure.

Stamina-RX is also recalled for misleading information about how the product should be used suggested by its label or promotional materials.The recalled supplements were sold nationwide in 10-, 30-, and 40-tablet bottles and in two- and six-tablet blister packs. Details: by phone at 888-855-7919.
