The following recalls have been announced because the products may be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems:

Jerry's Nut House is recalling select pistachios. No illness has been reported. The recalled in-shell pistachios were available in Colorado, Kansas. North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Wyoming. The shelled, roasted and salted pistachios were available in Colorado and Nebraska.
