A Texas Department of Public Safety employee has died in an accident while on duty at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
A DPS statement says 53-year-old Howard Lee Lombard died Monday afternoon while working on a communications trailer at a Texas Department of Transportation flight services hangar.
Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services spokesman Warren Hassinger says Lombard suffered a traumatic injury. Further details were not immediately released.
The accident is under investigation.
